TRAVEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

 
Before you conclude your purchase, you will be asked to agree that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions and those of the relevant Tour Operator and/or Airline. Travel and Events with Style advises that you review such terms and conditions carefully and also that of the Tour Operator and/or Airline.
 

BY ACCEPTING TO BOOK THE SELECTED TRAVEL ITINERARY, THIS CREATES A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CLIENT AND SUPPLIER FOR TRAVEL RELATED SERVICES. MOST DISCOUNT/CONSOLIDATED AIR FARES INVOLVE RESTRICTIONS. CHANGING RESERVATIONS, CARRIERS OR FLIGHTS COULD RESULT IN THE AIRLINE DEMANDING AN INCREASED FARE. REVIEW YOUR DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THEM AND NOTIFY TRAVEL AND EVENTS WITH STYLE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ANY DISCREPANCIES. ANY CHANGES TO YOUR TRAVEL ITINERARY AFTER YOUR BOOKING ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE & CANCEL FEES OR FULL PENALTY OF BOOKING BASED ON SUPPLIER TERMS.
 

Travel and Events with Style (herein “Travel Agency”) is acting as a mere agent for suppliers (as identified on invoices and documents) in selling travel-related services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this Travel Agency (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). Travel Agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers’ companions or group members.

Unless the term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on your quotation, tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, Travel Agency does not guarantee any of such supplier’s rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, room requests or handling of baggage or other personal effects. Travelers have done due diligence, are aware of the quality of the hotel accommodations chosen, and agree that Wander Love Weddings and Travel will not be responsible if they are not satisfied.

Under no circumstances can Travel and Events with Style be held liable or legally responsible for any possible displeasure brought upon by the supplier/s. This includes but is not limited to loss, damage or injury of any nature, delays or inconveniences. While Travel and Events with Style would like to hear about any such issues, the customer must contact the applicable supplier to resolve any dissatisfaction or complaint.

Neither Travel & Events with Style nor any of its staff or associates will tolerate mistreatment by way of verbal (in person or by telephone), written (email or social media) or physical, at any time. If any abuse transpires between you to anyone that is part of the staff or associates of Travel & Events with Style all services will cease and desist with no further compensation or refund between both parties. If this occurs, you will be advised that Travel and Events with Style as a company will no longer be retained by you and you will be required to seek new professional guidance on your own. You will still be required to fulfill all financial obligations to travel suppliers and Travel and Events with Style reserves their right to seek legal assistance to take the necessary actions for such mistreatment.

Risks, Cancellations and Insurance
The traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases Travel & Events with Style from any duty of, checking and verifying all passports, visa, vaccination and/or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety or security conditions as such destinations or while in transit during the length of the proposed travel. Lack of proper documentation may result in denied boarding and ineligibility for denied boarding compensation and any other unused services. Official government issue photo identification is required for all airline travel. The name on your identification documents must exactly match the name on this itinerary. Be careful not to use short forms of your name or aliases when booking. Also be advised that all carry-on luggage will be carefully scrutinized - please check restrictions with carrier directly to avoid security concerns at check-in. There also maybe a cost charged at the check-in counter by the airline for any checked baggage. For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, contact the Travel Advisory Section of the Department of Foreign Affairs or access the department’s on-line travel advisory service at http://travel.gc.ca. Travel and Events with Style shall not be responsible for any injuries, losses or damages in connection with terrorist activities, social or labour unrest, mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations, diseases, local laws, terrorists acts, bankruptcy or cessation of supplier or carrier services, climatic conditions, Acts of God, delays, changes or cancellation of travel due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents or health related problems before or while in-transit to (e.g., an accident on the way to a tour), during, and after a tour, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of Travel and Events with Style’s control.

If travel plans are delayed or cancelled for any reason there will be no refunds issued by Travel and Events with Style. There will be no refunds for cancellations including cancellations due to actual or threatened terrorist events. There will be no refunds due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorist events. Traveler understands that Travel and Events with Style is not responsible for any cancellation, errors or omissions on client behalf or on the behalf of vendors providing travel services as a result of this reservation.

Traveler understands that the supplier may impose additional cancellation penalties depending on the time of cancellation. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in a cancelled reservation & traveler is subject to supplier penalties. Traveler is subject to change fees on any changes that have to be issued after reservations have been made.

It is the traveler’s responsibility to protect their purchases and Travel Insurance is explicitly recommended. Traveler is advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance coverage against these risks. Traveler understands that provincial health insurance is not sufficient coverage for out of country medical care. Information is available through this Travel Agency regarding travel insurance quotes. A traveler’s decision to travel conveys acceptance to deny insurance coverage if no coverage has been purchased through this Travel Agency. If no insurance has been chosen to be purchased the Travel and Events with Style may not be held liable for this decision and any illness or harm that may occur to the traveler as it has been the traveler who has declined such insurances.

Airline tickets are non-refundable and are non-transferable, unless specifically otherwise noted. If changes need to be made to the itinerary, or any portion of the travel plans, and if it is possible to do so, there will be additional fees. Traveler agrees to pay all additional charges, fees, or penalties as laid out by the travel suppliers & hereby hold Travel and Events with Style free of any claims made as a result of the changes/cancellation of this travel reservation once deposit/payment is made. Discounted/consolidate air fares may have further restrictions than those purchased directly with airline suppliers. Airline reservations should be reconfirmed directly with the carrier 48 hours prior to travel in case of any schedule changes that may occur. Traveler is advised check baggage rules as they vary for each individual airline.

Traveler’s retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute consent to the above and an agreement on his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members. By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency.

Communication
Travel and Events with Style will make every reasonable effort to communicate with the client provided phone numbers, mailing addresses and electronic communication means are kept current. It is the responsibility of the traveler to update Travel and Events with Style of any changes as they come with any changes as they may occur.

Pricing & Payments
Air ticket fares are not valid until ticketed.
Note that airline ticket agreements and fare agreements apply.
Please be aware that not all airlines have ticketing agreements even though they have fare agreements.
All pricing for travel related needs are based on availability at the time of booking and are not guaranteed until paid in full.
If Travel and Events with Style cannot offer the price as originally quoted you will have the option to cancel without penalty.

Payments are accepted by Visa and MasterCard. American Express may be accepted by some travel suppliers but not all. Travel and Events with Style does not personally accept American Express as a form of payment if payment needs to be charged in house. A signed credit card authorization is to be on file for any credit cards used for supplier payments. Cheques will not be permitted as a form of payment for travel bookings under any circumstances at anytime.

Payments for travel services are processed by the actual travel suppliers of services according to their payment terms for deposit, final balance, etc. As Travel and Events with Style does not process supplier payments – Travel and Events with Style nor its owners or employees cannot be held liable for reimbursement of travel costs in instances of litigation.

Checking at the airport:
Your flight departure & return times must be reconfirmed directly with the carrier: 72 hours prior for international flights, and 12-24 hours prior for Domestic & Transborder (U.S.) flights. Passengers should arrive at the airport at least: 1.5-2 hours prior to domestic flights; 2-3 hours prior for Transborder flights; and 3-4 hours prior to international & charter flights (all destinations). IMPORTANT: Airlines may deny boarding for late check-in within 1-1.5 hours prior to flight departure.  Travel and Events with Style will not be held responsible if travelers miss boarding times. The travelers understand it is their responsibility to check the changes to boarding times on their own within 48hrs our departure.

Seat assignments & Luggage Allowance:
Whenever possible, Travel & Events with Style has made every attempt to secure pre-assigned seating for client flights if there is no cost to you the traveler. Be advised that some airlines charge for pre-assigned seats, and most do not allow pre-assigned seat selection. Please check-in with the gate to verify or confirmed your seat assignments & boarding passes. Luggage allowance varies by carrier. Travelers should contact the airline directly for specific information pertaining to their itinerary.
